Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, bridges to the community, host Emily Guerra meets with Jill Smith, Co-director of the Christmas holiday program – “Believe Again” – at University United Methodist Church in Las Cruces. She says that the line in the movie, “The Polar Express,” that says “but soon we had to grow up,” was the inspiration for their Christmas program this year.
Rekindle the magic of Christmas with “Believe Again” a FREE event to the public. Performances will be held on Friday, December 9th at 6 pm; and on Saturday, December 10th at 3 pm at University United Methodist Church, 2000 S. Locust in Las Cruces. A special Christmas Art Gallery will be available one hour before each performance. The program will include the choir and instrumentalists, bell choir, youth and children, an octet of carolers, speakers and actors. Donations of non-perishable foods will be collected to help feed our neighbors in the community.
