Cowboys Rope In Money For Cancer

Las Cruces, NM – Hundreds of boot wearing, lasso sporting cowboys and cowgirls showed their skills this weekend roping cattle to raise money for cancer. The treasurer for the group, known as Cowboys for Cancer, just announced that over $120, 000 were raised topping last year's amount. KRWG's Marco Grajeda was at the charitable event in the Las Cruces area and has this audio postcard.

Museum Opened With Fanfare and Two Governors

Columbus, NM – The Governors of New Mexico and Chihuahua opened a new museum dedicated to the Mexican Revolution in the area of Columbus, New Mexico. The Museum located at Pancho Villa State Park is designed to promote education and tourism in both New Mexico and Chihuahua. But as KRWG's Anca Gradinaru reports, it's costing New Mexico two million dollars.
